My personal research areas include ancient and medieval history, numismatics, and religious studies.

Having lived and worked in Israel & Palestine at various times over the past 30 years, I especially enjoy working with colleagues from the Middle East who want to improve their professional English for academic presentations, research papers and reports.

Coaching sessions
These sessions focus on your current research and writing projects, including specific skills such as citation and referencing requirements. We use cloud services to share learning materials, draft documents and improve written expression. We use video conferencing (Zoom or Skype) to practice fluent conversational English, including seminar presentation skills. If required, I can also provide copy-editing support.
